MING'S Human Parents say at 8 months of age: "She is a very energetic, curious and mischievous dog...a constant source of joy and we love her a lot. She is a beauty for sure and another thing...she sleeps on her back just like a human, and yes, she sleeps on the bed with us."

Champion BARNEY, CGC Human Parents say: "He has a presence in the ring that is almost indefinable. A very good handler was watching - great guy, and he was blown away by Barney; said he should win or at least place in group, and I think he would have with more experience (for both him and us). The handler was amazed that he's not yet a year old -- said he doesn't even show his until they're 1-1/2. We got lots of tips and pointers that will definitely help in the future. We are thrilled and delighted. It gave us all experience, Barney got his Championship, and we know what we need to do to get better at showing him. The best part is that it didn't kill us, although it sure came close!!! This morning, these two were rarin' to go, hoping for another day at the dog show. It makes me happy that you are proud of all of us, but you sure need to give yourself a pat on the back for the inspiration, and all the help.......and for producing these gorgeous dogs!
Everywhere we go, Barney attracts more attention than he needs, and now he's decided he's the reason people showed up in the first place." Barney is scheduled for his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test late-July, 2009. His loving, outgoing spirit should help him tremendously in achieving that title. As you can see, he is very comfortable in a crowd. "The people sitting at the sidewalk cafe (2nd to lowest line, right picture) were laughing because after I told him to stay, he sat there posed like a statue - never moved! What a guy!"

MIMI'S Human Parents say: "Our little girl Minuet (aka Mimi) turned 1 April 18. She is a wonderful dog. I thought you might like to see her party. Spoiled, oh no. She is Good Canine Citizen certified and a real character."

HUMPHREY'S Human Parents say: "Humphrey is doing so well. I took him to a puppy/socialization class yesterday at Petsmart, and he did so well, I was amazed. He was so calm, just laid by my feet after making friends with the other pups in the class. He already knows how to come here, sit, lie down, and watch me (direct eye contact). He walks beautifully on a leash and we are working on heel. He never pulls at all. He isn't skittish or nervous. He is so affectionate with me, follows me everywhere when he can. Such a lover! If I'm sitting on a chaise outside he'll jump on it and cuddle right up with me. The center picture of Humphrey does show his onery side, however. He stole the binky from the baby." Humphrey goes everywhere with his human mom and is a certified Pets On Wheels Therapy dog.

SASSI'S Human Parents say at 8 months of age: "Hadn’t chatted with you recently and thought that you might like to see a pic of Sassi and her sister Shadow taken a few weeks ago! Both dogs are part of a reading program for first graders (kids read to the dogs!). Sassi is about 38 pounds already, almost 24” at the shoulder, and red is coming out strong on her ears especially! She is spoiled rotten, sleeps on her back and comes to wake us up each morning, then takes a snooze on our bed! We love her dearly, and I would not be surprised if another standard comes into our home someday…"
