Rosebud (as we call her) is our exception to the rule dog. Whether or not she would have been a good retriever if she had been trained young will remain a mystery. Rosie is much more interested in getting our other dogs to play than she is in hunting or retrieving (but she does love to explore). Everyone wants to play with Rose, she insists on it!
She is beautiful and stout, and her physical strength allows her to easily power the other dogs to the ground whenever she feels like it. Despite this strength, she is quite loveable and has never met a stranger (she literally loves everyone who walks through our door, giving them all the full-bodied retriever wag).
