Titan really is a white dog. The site of most Arizona tests has very soft, powdery red dirt, which covers the dogs as cars travel by their kennels along the road going from one stake to another (and because it is a preserve, we are unable to move off-road). Fortunately, swimming quickly washes the dust away.
