Hips:Trigger's PennHIP test (reference #875651) revealed 0.38 right and 0.43 left laxities (an EXCELLENT result). His hip results place him in the 60th percentile of all Standard Poodles, meaning 60% of tested Standard Poodles have worse hips than him. His mom's PennHIP test revealed 0.32 right and 0.27 left laxities (an EXCELLENT result). Her hip results place her in the 90th percentile of all Standard Poodles, meaning 90% of tested Standard Poodles have worse hips than her. Sire has hips in the 60th percentile (0.42 right and 0.44 left laxities).
Thyroid: Results from a 7/29/08 blood draw are pending OFA certification.
Ataxia (Neonatal Encephalopathy) DNA Results: "Normal" per University of MO AMGL Case 52945, meaning he does not carry the gene, so he cannot pass it to his offspring.

Brief Biography

Trigger is not only a beautiful poodle, but he has some of the most stunnning apricot and red poodle relatives that can be found across the globe. Unlike many red poodles, he is very square (you don't even need to get the measuring tape to confirm that). Because he doesn't carry brown, he should not contribute to fading coats.

Trigger is very loving and fun-spirited and has a strong drive to retrieve. He is a wonderful family member.

Trigger is critical to the success of our red program and will sire future pups of Daisy, Rose, Cedar, and Meg. He will be available for stud to approved Standard Poodle females once the results of his thyroid and sebaceous adenitis tests are received from OFA (although he has no clinical signs of problems with either).
